If any one crew ever had a sound, it was FPM. The production was always reliable and familiar which kind made so many of their songs feel comfortable even on the first listen. Positive K never blew up quite as big as he could have but had massive respect from other emcees. Most of his career was spent riding the popularity of two big hits, "I'm Not Havin' It" and "I Got A Man". The latter is featured on this album and is definitely one of two or three real standouts. The others are "Carhoppers" and the Silver D remix of "Nightshift". A number of other tracks are still very listenable but don't quite measure up to the aforementioned tracks. When you listen to Positive K, there's a sense of calm cause he definitely can carry any track with his smooth and diverse flow.
