WAR- Anthology (2 CD) (1994)

This one, although amazing, might not catch too many of you off guard. Those of us who are heavy into funk know that WAR is one of the most important groups of the genre. Recently my brother was able to see them in concert and got this autographed. As you can see by the track listing below, the majority of the important tracks are here. The most noticeable exception being Heartbeat which Rob Swift made very memorable many years ago. As far as anthologies go, this one gets an A+. There's not overly much you're missing out on as a casual listener if you immerse yourself into this 2-disc set. A guaranteed to enjoy type thing so get on it already!!!!
