I have to tell you that I haven't watched this yet. I just picked it up the other day and shrunk down the size a bit and decided rather than wait, just to drop it on you. There are four files to download and in total the runtime is almost 1:23:00. The video quality is understandably not as amazing as we'd like but no problems with that considering the age. A real moment in time kind of concert. You can just imagine how deeply a live show like this would affect you. A massive funk spectacle featuring an ensemble that has endless talent and creativity. Unfortunately Bootsy only makes a special appearance as he apparently opened earlier with his Rubber Band. I'm sort of watching/ listening to this right now as I do the post and I think I will view it this weekend cause they are nicely switching between Funkadelic and Parliament. It just makes me want to stop and watch but work was way too crazy for me today to sit down and enjoy this whole show properly. I can guarantee you will enjoy this show!!The following codecs may be required (unless you have them already) to watch the video!
Xvid
AC3 (please read the "readme" file first)
You can fully trust both sources for these codecs, no bullshit attached.
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

The finale will blow you away. I'm gonna try and total recorder this show see if I can get a good quality mp3 out of it. Amazing!
Excellent - is this is the film of the P-Funk tour from the live 77 album it's an amazing show. Take funk to heaven in 77 as George used to say...
No, not quite. This recording is from Houston and I believe the Live album was recorded partly in LA and partly in Seattle. But I imagine the overall sound would be very much the same given the number of concerts they had performed in the period leading up to the release of the live album. Can you imagine this concert though? Aside from Parliament/Funkadelic you also would have seen Bootsy's Rubber Band and Sly & The Family Stone. Unreal!
As even my father recognized when I showed this to him: this is the epitome of rock and roll. Straight up classic
I saw this show when it came to London at the old Hammersmith Odeon: "massive funk spectacle" is exactly the right description! Four hours of P-Funk ecstasy - chanting, whistling and dancing. All-time best gig (along with Bootsy at the Barbican, as he comes back on for an encore, shaking it in a pink neon wig!!!)
