Here's another show from Funkmaster Flex. Notice that within a year's time the Chuck Chillout Show had moved from 98.7 KISS FM to WBLS. A solid show with lots of great tracks including some of the brand new hits of the time. I'm not sure if it's still in the show cause I edit out most commercial segments and chatter but Chuck Chillout accidentally calls Charles Oakley-- Charles Barkley. I know he refers to it still that's on this but not sure if the actual incident made the final version of this rip. It's a shame you edit out the chatter as I think it gives it a real back in the day feel.
Great blog though, the posts are awesome.
Well, I don't think the frequent weather reports are useful for a mix show so those are gone. Station IDs and things actually related to the show are still there. However sometimes they go on and on about really nothing namely Red and Mr. Magic. Sometimes they just didn't know when their chatter got tiring. So, it is not just straight mixes, it has the feel of a radio show still.
Please re-up the link. This is a must have!!
