Beastie Boys on the Breezeblock (November 10, 1997

This is a cool set. This is in the era when the Beastie Boys were really kind of goofing around a lot still. I remember still one TV interview in Canada when MCA tried to convince an interviewer that his uncle built a functional helicopter out of wood. She was like, "Oh, really?" Here again they just start playin' with the host and then the set itself is just plain fun. Some nice stuff on here from BDP, Tribe and the Jungle Brothers and more. A nice addition for any Beastie Boys fan if they don't have it yet. Enjoy the show!

I still like it cause I know the approach they were taking in this era. Way too many people were expecting them to be serious once they became famous and they were like, "uh..no." Hilarious.

Hi, thanks for posting the mix! I remember listening to it when it was on the radio, I recorded it on tape but lost it ages ago, does anyone know where I can get the full mix from? Most sites have the 46 minute (prob one side of a cassette!) mix, but it went on for longer and there were more tunes on it.
